Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know before you start tracking your wealth. Still stuck? Reach us through the contact form.

What can I track?

Precious metals, real estate, listed equities, funds, crypto, cash and other assets. Each holding sits side by side in a single register, so your whole net worth lives in one place.

How is my net worth valued?

Metals are valued at live spot prices, equities and indices against live market feeds, and other currencies are converted using live FX rates. Values refresh continuously so your total reflects the current market.

Where does the net-worth history come from?

Rather than asking you to type in past balances, Track your wealth reconstructs your history from actual historical market prices applied to your holdings. That means your value curve — and the risk analytics built on it — reflect real market movement.

What are the analytics?

  • Realised volatility — how much your portfolio value fluctuates, annualised.
  • Max drawdown — the largest peak-to-trough decline over the period.
  • Sharpe proxy — a risk-adjusted view of returns.
  • Positive-day ratio — how often your portfolio finished up.

Can I track a household with multiple owners?

Yes. Assign holdings to different owners and view each person's holdings, allocation and performance individually, as well as the combined household total.

Which currencies are supported?

You can display your wealth in a range of currencies — including USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD, CNY, JPY, INR and Gulf currencies such as SAR, AED, QAR, KWD and BHD — with amounts converted at live FX rates and formatted to each currency's convention.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your portfolio is scoped to your account, never sold, and never shared with other users. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Does this replace financial advice?

No. Track your wealth is a tracking and analytics tool, not financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
